How It's Done - Aeroseal Duct Sealing

Aeroseal of Rochester

How Is Aeroseal Duct Sealing Done?

Aeroseal of Rochester uses an innovative Aeroseal technology that seals the cracks and holes in your air vent system. Read below to learn how it's done. Call us today!

1. A comprehensive test is performed:

We block all of your vents and registers to pressurize your system, which allows our technology to locate all of the cracks and holes where air is leaking. We evaluate your pre-seal air duct leakage, measuring the overall size of the cracks and leaks.

Any large, major leaks (such as broken, disconnected, or damaged ducts) will need to be repaired before sealing.

2. Leaks are sealed with precision:

Our formula does not coat or line your air ducts. Aeroseal targets only the cracks and leaks, which allows us to use only the amount of sealant necessary with virtually no waste and very little clean-up.

3. You see and feel the difference:

When finished, you will be provided with a formal certificate of completion, which includes a detailed analysis of “before” and “after” system performance. You will notice a difference in your home right away with more even room temperatures, cleaner air, and reduced energy bills.
