1. Prep and set-up:

Any openings that won’t be sealed are covered. This includes taping or covering any designed openings or finished horizontal surfaces within the space.

The Aeroseal Envelope system is then set up, which includes a blower door, nozzle stations and hoses, a fan with lay-flat tubing, and the master control unit.

2. Pressurize and apply:

Using a blower door, the space is pressurized.

A computer controls the entire application process, including the temperature, pressure, humidity, and distribution of sealant within the space.

3. Seal and monitor:

With the Aeroseal envelope sealing system, results are seen in real time. You have complete control over your desired level of airtightness.

After completion, a final blower door test is run to verify the air sealing results. You will be provided with a Certificate of Completion that shows both pre- and post-leakage.

4. Clean up:

When finished, work can resume in the space within 30 minutes. At this time, clean-up of the equipment and the removal of tape and coverings can be done.
